Milpitas- Shopping for Appliances

So we found a crack in the Granite for the Milpitas Project.  After a few days of contemplating what we should do, we decided to not cut corners and just go ahead and replace the bottom Cabinets and the Granite Counter tops.  Since we are going to try and flip this property, we thought we would just make everything new and make it shine instead of just trying to seal the crack in the granite right on the corner.

People wouldn't probably notice but for the buyers who want a nice house, we don't want to skip up on the picky buyers who really want a house that's completely finished.  But in order to put together a house that is completely finished, we need to put in the appliances as well so that the kitchen will feel complete and buyers can picture themselves living in this property.

Buyers like the Stainless steel appliances so we usually furnish the kitchen with new stainless steel appliances.  You can usually purchase these typical appliances at Home Depot or Lowe's.  And expect to pay these prices for them:

1. Oven: $600-$700
2. Microwave Hood: $250-$350
3. Dishwasher: $300-$400

Total Cost:  $1150-$1450.

So your budget for appliances to furnish a kitchen for a property you are looking to flip should be around $1150-$1450.  You can probably get it for a little cheaper if you run into good sales on appliances or clearance items that they sometimes have available.

But for higher end properties, this budget might be double the amount.  The reason is, the higher end properties will probably require upgraded appliances.  For a higher end property, you will have to go to Best Buys and/or Sears.  They carry more higher end options for appliances:
