DURING Construction- Exterior Paint & Interior Texture.

Here's the update for Milpitas.  The contractors are continuing the patching and mudding the Ceiling for the interior.  They will wait for it to dry and then sand it.  After that, they will Texture and Paint.  On the Exterior, they are continuing to caulk, paint and touch up to make it look professional.  The colors are turning out great and we will see the finished painted house by the end of the week.

They got a chance to put up the fence and put in all the trims for windows and doors for the outside.  The inside has a little ways to go.

Below are some pictures of the construction progress for this project.  Pretty fast progress so far for this project:

Milpitas Update-2nd Week AFTER Closing

Here are some updated Pictures of the painted exterior.  This color scheme turned out relatively nice.  We like it and we will continue to use it.  The contrast was nice and dramatic (Darker body color and off-white Trims):

This is what the interior looks like so far. We decided to keep the lower cabinets and the Granite.  We will be installing new upper cabinets.  We also changed out new dual pane windows for the kitchen and the master bedroom and a new sliding patio door:

DURING CONSTRUCTION- Electrical Issues

Like a lot of these houses, Thieves and Vandals come in and steal electrical copper wires and just mess up the electrical.  A lot of times we have to fix these repairs that might cost us thousands of dollars and these thieves will take it somewhere to salvage if for $10-$20 bucks.  It's ridiculous, but that's how it goes in this business.  There are just a bunch of low lives that will do anything for a quick buck when they see an empty house.  And we end up spending so much time and money to fix the damage that they cause...It's a vicious cycle.  So it's important to lock up everything and do everything you can to ensure that your project is safe and secure.

The Electrician, Andy, HARD AT WORK scraping off some markings from a dead plate for the main panel.  Don't work too hard, Andy... Actually, Andy and his crew is our "Go To" electrical professionals we hire to repair, replace when there is an electrical issues.  They have done a lot of jobs for us.  They give us great pricing and is very professional and responsive.  These guys do great work!
